Wedding Music

Colgans
This page is for anyone looking for the most beautiful instrument in the world to play at your wedding ceremony. Pictured above is a wonderful set of pipes made by Mr Colgan sometime in the 1820s. Apologies to my many acquaintances abroad but I am unable to travel to you to fulfill engagements (unless of course… :). As I am based in Glorious Tramore, in the Deep South (of Ireland), I am available to perform at weddings in the general area. I have played at weddings as far as Dublin and Galway but that is closer to Ronan’s territory! You can make a booking through:

http://www.weddingsonline.ie/suppliers/jimmy-obrien-moran-uillean-pipes

or directly at jimmyobm@gmail.com

I hope to upload some sound samples in the near future but for the moment I can only supply a list of titles.

The following is a selection from my repertoire. Below that list are suggestions for particular points during the wedding ceremony. You can adjust the programme to suit yourselves. If there is a piece of music not on the list that you would like me to try do suggest it. If it suits the instruments I’m happy to try it.
